Catherine Hanley, Ed.M
Catherine has nearly 20 years of experience in the educational services sector focusing specifically on international education. With organizations including EUSA and The AIC, she has worked with more than 70 colleges and universities to design and deliver customized internship programs in London, Dublin, Madrid, Paris, Geneva, Boston, NYC, San Francisco, Toronto and Singapore. She is founder and director of EVE Abroad, the first study abroad organization to focus specifically on wine business and agritourism, which allows students to study in more rural and culturally authentic locations. She grew up on three continents, has traveled to more than 50 countries and holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
Ariana Díaz Turner, M.A. Spanish Literature
After staying at home with her children in order to raise them bilingually, Ariana is eager to pursue her career in International Education. With a BA in Spanish, BSed in Education, and an MA in Spanish Literature, she has renewed her passion for cultural awareness, global travel, education, and language immersion. Her love of travel and languages began early in life having lived in Panama as a young child and continued as she studied abroad in college, backpacked through Europe, interned in a language immersion program through The University of Málaga in Spain, as well as served as the Director of a study abroad program in Southern Spain through The University of Kansas. Over the past 10 years, she co-founded The Language Tree, a Spanish and French language immersion preschool, has helped raise over 2.5 million dollars for a non-for-profit independent school, and continues to enjoy instructing yoga and kickboxing. Ariana lives in Columbia, Missouri, with her three children, husband, and rescue dog, Lucía.
